Caltech Men's Basketball saw multiple breakout games on Saturday against Whittier.
First-year Dorian Glogovac (Vancouver, B.C. / St. George's School Vancouver) grabbed his fourth 30-point game of the season. He finished with 31 points. Glogovac is now alone as the highest-scoring Beaver in a season with 507 points and counting. The freshman averages 23.0 points per game. If he continues this average, he will be atop the single-season points per game number.
Junior Andrew Koclanes (Denver, Colo. / Colorado Academy) was whipping the ball around the court all night. The third-year had eight assists, a career-high. Koclanes had an efficient night, knocking down two three-pointers in three attempts and had eight points in the affair.
The young guns on Caltech continued to shine as Ryan Rodrigue (Rancho Sante Fe, Calif. / Sante Fe Christian) finished with 17 points. Rodrigue has scored 17 points or more in four of his last six games. Rodrigue has become a consistent starter for the Beavers over those six contests and has answered the bell.
Caltech scored 70+ points for its seventh straight game, its longest streak in at least 15 years.
The Beavers return to the hardwood on Wednesday, Feb. 18 at 7:00 p.m. against La Verne in La Verne, Calif. The last time these two faced, Caltech posted its best conference showing of the season.
