GREENWOOD, Ind. — Five players from the Caltech baseball team earned 2023 Academic All-District recognition on Tuesday, as announced by College Sports Communicators.

Sophomores Thorsen Kristufek (McKinney, Tex. / McKinney) and Garrett Knuf (Laguna Niguel, Calif. / Dana Hills) along with junior Gautam Chawla (Princeton, N.J. / Princeton HS) and seniors Jack Warren (Foster City, Calif. / San Mateo) and Will Dembski (Pella, Iowa / Pella Christian) received the prestigious distinction. The five student-athletes were awarded the honor for achieving a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher while playing in the majority of the team's games this season.

The players are now eligible for Academic All-America voting, with results to be announced June 7.
