GREENWOOD, Ind. — Five members of the Caltech baseball team received 2024 Div. III Academic All-District honors, College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced on Tuesday.
Senior
Leo Jenkins (New York, N.Y. / Beacon) along with juniors
Thorsen Kristufek (McKinney, Texas / McKinney),
Edward Speer (Austin, Texas / Leander),
Cameron McNamee (Great Falls, Mont. / Great Falls) and
Jack Fishel (Baltimore, Md. / Boys' Latin School of Maryland) collected the prestigious recognition for posting a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 or higher while either competing in 90 percent of the team's games or starting in 66 percent of them. Institutions could nominate a maximum of five student-athletes.
The five Beavers each played a major role in the team's immense success this past season as the program accomplished its first double-digit winning season in 64 years.
