NEW ORLEANS — The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released its 2024 All-Academic Teams and Athletes on Monday, naming both the Caltech men and women to the team distinction and one Beaver to the individual accolade list.
The
women and
men each received the prestigious team honor, respectively, for achieving a cumulative team GPA of 3.1 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
Junior
Rohun Agrawal (Cupertino, Calif. / Monta Vista) was named to the individual
Men's All-Academic Athlete list for achieving a cumulative GPA of at least 3.3 on a 4.0 scale while also posting a top-50 time or mark among all of Division III in one or more events. The standout finished the year ranked 27th for the 5,000-meters in outdoor track after breaking his own school-record at the
Bryan Clay Invite with a blazing time of 14:12.80.
It is the second academic award for Agrawal this track season; he and eight other Beavers won
CSC Academic All-District honors in June.
