ALISO VIEJO, Calif. – Looking for a little retribution from a previous loss to Soka, the Caltech men's soccer came up short in losing a 1-0 decision on Monday evening.
The game's lone goal came in the 14th minute when Marco Timm scored off a pass from Masaru Nakajima.
Caltech started Grayson Chadwick in goal for the second time this season and the do everything senior faced 20 shots.
The Beavers (2-16) were able to pepper Soka goalie Tim Sasser with seven shots but couldn't find the back of the net. Alex Wein had a team high three shots on goal. Mikhail Sushkov posted two shots while Kunmi Jeje and Sarah Wright each had one shot.
