Box Score PASADENA, Calif. – In the final match of the season, SOKA used three goals in the first 18 minute to propel them to a 4-1 victory over Caltech on Tuesday afternoon in a non-conference soccer match-up.
SOKA concludes the season with a 3-12-2 mark while Caltech finished their campaign 1-18.
It was the final game for Caltech senior Thimal deAlwis.

Alex Scott put SOKA on the board in the ninth minute when he took a feed from Marco Timm from the left side. Less than two minutes later Akira Takahata made the score 2-0 when he beat Caltech goalie Wesley Swank one-on-one after receiving a long ball from Timm. The first half scoring was rounded out in the 18th minute as Takahata scored off a scramble in front of the net.
Caltech's best chance for an opening half goal came in the 39th minute when a Mikhail Sushkov shot beat the goalie from 15 yards out but sailed just wide right.
The Beavers got on the board in the 60th minute when Yishun Dong scored his second goal of the season. The junior headed home a centering pass from Marec Serlin's free kick. Caltech continued to press on the offensive end but couldn't get anything behind SOKA goalie Tim Sasser.
Takayuki Jo scored with five seconds left in the game to round out the scoring.
The visitors held a 5-4 edge in corner kicks while posting a 13-6 advantage in total shots.
