PASADENA, Calif. — Caltech Athletics announced the 2023-24 men's basketball regular season schedule Friday afternoon.

Head Coach Dr. Oliver Eslinger and the Beavers have a full slate of exciting contests lined up this year, featuring a packed nonconference schedule with some rarely-seen opponents before finishing with a challenging 16-game SCIAC campaign.

The season will begin in November with a pair of exhibitions, starting on the first of the month at home against University of Antelope Valley and then on the road at Vanguard University. The Beavers will then play host to the 110 Rivalry Game, an annual nonconference duel against cross-freeway rival Occidental College. Then the team will head out to Illinois to face the University of Chicago and either Albion College or Illinois Tech. Back in California, Caltech will head up to Lancaster to face West Coast Baptist University after a successful road game against the Eagles last year. Rounding out November will be a trio of home games against UC Santa Cruz, New York University, and the first conference game of the season against University of La Verne.

The Beavers will play four games in December, all at home. Pomona-Pitzer Colleges will visit first, followed by Albion, Buena Vista University and Emmanuel College (Mass.) in Caltech's last nonconference game of the season.

January will be the busiest month of the team's calendar with nine SCIAC matchups. The Beavers will face Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges and Chapman University on the road before hosting Whittier College and then Occidental. Following will be three consecutive away games at University of Redlands and California Lutheran University, and finally at La Verne to start the second round of SCIAC play. Caltech will then host CMS and Chapman to finish out the month.

February will open up with a road game at Pomona-Pitzer, followed by home matchups against Cal Lutheran and finally a Valentine's Day tilt against Redlands in the Beavers' last scheduled home game. Caltech will finish the campaign on the road with a pair of away games, first at Whittier and then wrapping up the regular season at Occidental.
