Aditya Bhagavathi has represented the Beavers on the track, on the trails, and on the national stage. He is a two-time Cross Country All-SCIAC winner, earning a First Team honor as a senior finishing fourth overall at the SCIAC Championship after earning Second Team in his junior year. A two-time NCAA Cross Country National Championship qualifier, his 8K time of 25:34.7 through cold and muddy conditions at the 2014 national meet in Mason, Ohio holds as the fifth-fastest finish in the Caltech record books.

In Track & Field, Bhagavathi was the SCIAC Champion in the 5000 meters event at the 2015 conference championships. 10 years after he graduated, Bhagavathi still holds the fourth-fastest Caltech men's 5000 meters time in program history. He finished in 14:44.66 in 2015, becoming just the second Caltech Men's Track & Field student-athlete ever to break the 15-minute barrier. Bhagavathi also holds the sixth fastest 1500 meters (3:59.41) and 3000 meters times in our men's program's history.

In addition to his all-conference recognitions and Caltech records, Bhagavathi was named to the All-Region Team by US Track and Field in 2014 and 2015.
