Blackwood is the sole representative of Caltech Men's Water Polo to be inducted into the Hall of Honor 2024-25 class.

Though he graduated in 2016, he still holds an incredible three program records in the sport. In 2015 he set the program record for single-season assists with 53 and in a game with six, the latter value tying a record set by Adam Kham. Blackwood amassed 155 assists in his Caltech career, still the most by any Beaver.
